At The Maple Trail, we want to make sure your home and kitchen essentials arrive safely and promptly at your doorstep. Based in Toronto, Canada, we’re committed to providing clear, reliable delivery options for all our customers.

1. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to addresses within Canada. At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

  • Local Delivery: We offer standard delivery to all residential and business addresses across Canada.

  • PO Boxes: We can deliver to PO Box addresses, but please note that only Canada Post can deliver to PO Boxes. If you select a courier service for a PO Box address, your package may be delayed or returned.

2. Free Shipping Promotion

Spend $80 or more and get FREE standard shipping!

  • Minimum Purchase: Orders totaling $80 CAD or more (before taxes) qualify for free standard shipping.

  • Automatic Application: The free shipping discount will automatically apply at checkout when your cart subtotal reaches the minimum threshold.

  • Exclusions: Heavy or oversized items may be excluded from free shipping (we’ll note this on the product page).

3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We partner with reliable carriers to ensure your order arrives safely. Delivery times are estimates and begin from the date of shipment, not the date of order.

Please Note:

  • Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Canadian holidays.

  • Delivery times to remote or rural areas may take longer.

  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST will be processed the next business day.

4. Order Processing Time

  • Processing: Orders typically take 1-2 business days to process before shipment. During peak seasons (like holidays), processing may take slightly longer.

  • Order Confirmation: Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an email confirmation. When your order ships, you’ll receive a second email with tracking information.

  • Tracking: All shipped orders include a tracking number so you can follow your package’s journey.

5. Toronto Local Pickup (Coming Soon!)

We’re working on offering local pickup from our Toronto location. This option will allow you to order online and pick up your items in person, saving shipping costs. Stay tuned for updates!

6. Shipping to Remote Areas

For deliveries to remote or northern Canadian locations, additional transit time may be required. Some locations may also incur a remote delivery surcharge, which will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

7. Multiple Item Orders

If your order contains multiple items, they may be shipped separately depending on:

  • Availability from different warehouses

  • Item size and weight

  • Shipping method selected

You will not be charged additional shipping for split shipments if you paid a flat rate.

8. Delivery Attempts and Failed Deliveries

  • First Attempt: Carriers will attempt delivery during normal business hours.

  • Second Attempt: If no one is available, the carrier will usually make a second attempt or leave a notice with pickup instructions.

  • Failed Delivery: If a package is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts or an incorrect address provided by you, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping.

9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

Damaged Items:
If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos of the box and damaged item

  2. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@themapletrail.ca

  3. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund

Lost Packages:
If tracking shows your package hasn’t moved in 7 business days beyond the estimated delivery date, please contact us immediately. We’ll open an investigation with the carrier.

10. Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate. The Maple Trail is not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If you realize you’ve made an error, please contact us immediately at info@themapletrail.ca

11. Holiday Shipping Schedule

During peak shopping periods (Black Friday, Christmas, etc.), delivery times may be longer than usual. We recommend ordering early to ensure timely delivery. Check our homepage or social media for holiday shipping deadlines.
